About

I was 6 when I got my first camera…

It was a film camera and I knew literally nothing about photography, so I thought it best to open up the camera and remove the film to have a closer look. I’ve been taking pictures ever since.

As expected with any journey, not all of the photos I took in my formative years were good. I would even go as far as saying that, looking at those photos with the photographer’s eye I have today, none of them were good. Regardless, they were pictures that I took and I was in love. I started taking pictures all the time. My parents bought me a tiny polaroid and I ran out of film in 2 days. In elementary school I took pictures with my 4th Grade teacher’s camera. In middle school, I signed up for yearbook which meant access to another camera; and in high school my passion still hadn’t faded, so I signed up for yearbook again…for the cameras.

In 2012, when I realized I could spend hours upon hours planning, shooting and retouching and it seemed like only minutes, I realized I wanted this to be my career. From beauty to editorial to commercial to fashion photography to retouching…

I live and breath photography.
